…chat with Allen Shelton

Edge City is BACK!

Robert Cheatham interviews Allen Shelton about southern writing and theory in his backyard in Atlanta, Georgia.

Join us as we chat with Allen Shelton (http://livefromedgecity.org/). Allen teaches in New
York State, in Buffalo to be exact, and has produced a marvelous book, both
learned and down to earth. Very southern in many ways but with a theoretical
edge that southern writing is not really acquainted with. He stopped in Atlanta
for a bit and graciously appeared at a FORT!/da? Effects/PD book reading event
designed around his work. At any rate, a grand evening was had and the Orb
himself had a chance to do a short interview.

We highly recommend the book Where the North Sea Touches
Alabama
.
